Board Responsibilities

Below are some of the duties of the Pine Brook Water District Board of Directors under Colorado Revised Statutes Title 32. This list is not comprehensive. The full statutes can be found here: Colorado Revised Statutes Title 32.

1) Ensure that the Water District meets all appropriate federal, state and local regulations.

2) Provide strategic planning for the Water District. At a minimum this includes: future planning, capital planning and risk management planning

3) Executive oversight of the Water District

4) Financial stewardship

5) Community leadership - Acting as advocates for the Water District, Communicating transparently with constituents, and conducting public meetings in compliance with the Sunshine Laws

6) General policy creation including: Drought plan approval and setting water rates
