Pine Brook Water District – Water Usage Rates

2012 Monthly Water Usage Rates As of January 1, 2012 the Pine Brook Water District implemented new water rates. The changes were that the service charge was increased from $29.00 to $30.00 per month and then the cost of each 1,000 gallons of usage was increased by $0.50. So if the old rate was $12.50 for the first 1,000 gallons of usage then the new rate is $13.00. The Pine Brook Water District sends out bills around the first of each month. *If you do not receive a bill you should call the water district office.*Failure to notify the Water District that you are not receiving a bill can still result in the account being considered delinquent. Bills that are not paid by the 15th of each month (unless a different date is noted on the bill) will be considered delinquent and assessed a late charge of 10% for the charges for that month (note – the 10% charge is not on the total balance due but only on the charges for that month). Two months of non-payment triggers a turn off notice to be issued with a fee of $25.00 added to your bill. Failure to pay after the issuance of a turn notice will be cause for your water service to be discontinued. In the event the District turns off your water it will only be turned back on after the account has been paid in full including a reconnection fee of $50.00. The District will not accept two party checks. Any returned checks will be charged a $15.00 returned check fee.	Usage	Rate	Total
